Interactive Video
Vyond Interview
This is an interactive video that allows potential employees to learn more about me and my instructional design skills.
Audience: Potential Employers
My Responsibilities: Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Script Writing, and Storyboard
Tools I Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Google Docs, Vyond, and Figma
My Process
I developed this interactive, animated video from start to finish. The process I used to create this project involved a text-based storyboard, a script for all of the characters, a video creation software called Vyond, a prototype, and a final version of the project that included captions and other accessability features.
Text-Based Storyboard
The storyboard serves as the blueprint for the project. It includes the content and visual notes that will appear on the slide as well as the programming notes that make the slide interactive.
This project included the use of multiple animated videos I created using Vyond. Having the details of the project all laid out in the storyboard streamlined the process of creating the videos that were needed.

Creating Videos Using Vyond
Once the storyboard was complete, it was time to begin working on the videos in Vyond. I created a character that looked like me, designed scenes that matched an interview experience, and found sound effects and voices that made my scenes come to life. I developed a total of 6 short videos that I would later input into Storyline 360, ultimately creating an interactive interview experience.
Interactive Prototype
I created a number of prototypes before developing the final version of the project. During this editing process, I found small details that needed changed and added effects that make the interview experience come to life.
Full Development
Finally, it was time to develop the final project. Other than making minor changes to my most recent prototype, I also wanted to add closed captions to the video files and adjust some of the player settings within Storyline 360. These additions would make the project more accessible for learners and create the visual appeal I desired, even with the player visible.
